Senior Member zyzz Posted March 1, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2015 I've had ED issues even before starting meds so I'm not sure if it's the meds that's causing it or not. Doctor recommends I stop but wanted to see if anyone continued with meds even with the sides? Can continue use permanently damage ability to get an erection even with meds like Viagra? Regular Member RanDave Posted March 13, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted March 13, 2015 I haven't had sexual side effects, however some mild effects that occured, passed within about a month. As I've heard, almost all side effects pass with some time. There are many psychological causes and health issues that could affect your sexual health that is why it is worth get a professional help in this regard. Visit a doctor and try to find the real cause of your problems instead of blaming Propecia.

Senior Member pkipling Posted April 8, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted April 8, 2015 If you were having trouble with ED even before starting Propecia, I definitely wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the Propecia is causing it. I would look into what the actual cause of the ED is and see if you can treat that. Otherwise, I don't see how stopping Propecia would do you any good.
