Senior Member FUE2014 Posted January 30, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Lads, According to a source on the internet (google hg specialist revita vs regenpure) revita only has 0.25% keto. I have emailed DS labs to clarify but am not expecting them to answer. My impression was that it always had 1% keto, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was far less, as it has never been nearly as effective for me as nizoral. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted February 7, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2015 Interesting. We sell this on our online store and in the description it reads, "This product includes a 6 ounces or 180ML bottle with 1% of the active ingredient ketoconazole." I seem to recall reading somewhere that Bill got this information by calling the manufacturer. I'll have to check on this. Senior Member FUE2014 Posted February 7, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 7, 2015 Hey David That will be helpful if you could, I have read a couple of other sources which says the concentration is 0.25% and the fact they will not disclose its concentration makes me feel it is less than 1%......I have assumed all these years it is 1% and don't understand the attitude of the manufacturer in not wanting to be transparent with its customers about how much of the most important active ingredient (keto) is in their product. To quote my email exchange: DS Support (DS Laboratories) Feb 2, 12:43 PM Hello XXX, I'm sorry but we do not have access to that information. Any information that the company released about Ingredients would be on the website. Regards, Sheryl Jan 29, 6:13 PM Hey there, Just checking does revita have 0.25% keto or 1%? Thanks XXX
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted February 10, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) We're still looking into this. The documentation we received from our sales rep does not specify the keto content either. Hopefully we'll be able to get a definite answer from the manufacturer. Senior Member MyNameIsRich Posted May 26, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2015 I hated that stuff. Only ever got the one bottle, but it seemed too expensive for what it was. I've been using Lipogaines 3 in 1 hair shampoo for a long time now, thats 1%, but i'm considering just switching back to the good old 2% nizoral Click to check my hair blog.
