slimeball
Is there a correlation between the two? It didn't seem to me like hairloss was such a problem before as it is now, or is it because its only recently hairloss patients have started to voice themselves. Is there any food that stimulates DHT production? Just a thought.

Senior Member Smoothy Posted June 19, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2004 Yes, you need certain nutrients for your hair and skin. Zinc, B-6, Vit. C and E are all essential. Also Fatty Acids-- like Omega fatty acids are are important nutrients. If you low on all of these, YES it will lead to poor hair growth (loss, depends on your genes, but it will hurt the quality and growth).
