Regular Member Shannont80 Posted September 12, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted September 12, 2014 Well, I decided to take the plunge. I visited a few Docs in the Houston area and narrowed them down to 2. Dr Arocha and Dr Rashid. Both very filled with personality, and fun to be around. Both facilities were very nice and had a great staff. At the end of the day I decided to go with Rashid. The price difference was phenomenal. I only went with 1500 grafts. I'm on day 3 and have zero pain. I do have swelling and I've started icing. It's funny because I'm not a sweller.
Regular Member peterith Posted September 12, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted September 12, 2014 Texas has many good doctors. Dr. Limmer(s) for example is world famous and does not charge much at all. To bad the practice is in transition. So you bring up a great point, you can have good doctors charging a lot and good doctors charging a little. i think, t is always good to talk at least 2 doc. Good luck with the swelling as it can really be a lot sometimes. Good thing it doesnt last forvr

Regular Member Shannont80 Posted October 14, 2014 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 14, 2014 I'm a little over a month in. The redness has faded to a very light ting. The hair is growing surprisingly fast. At this point I'm pretty satisfied. It didn't take the 3-6 months for hair to sprout like I had originally expected. So far so good. I'll post some pics this evening.
