JoeTillman
Earlier this month, after sharing that I joined the team at Rahal, I announced that I am going to share a new Rahal FUE result every Friday for the next year (or more). Below is a compilation of those results from the past four weeks. August 3rd, 2014 Update: Must-see Rahal FUE results (1413 Grafts) http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176272-update-must-see-rahal-fue-results-1413-grafts.html This patient is known on the forums as “HookHairs”. He decided on Rahal FUE on February 22nd, 2012 after having two previous FUE procedures with a different clinic. He reported that the first two procedures did not grow as well as he had hoped and decided that having Rahal FUE for round three may allow for a higher yield. The approach included filling the recipient zone that was addressed in the two previous procedures to add density and to lower the temples further while maintaining a natural shape and appearance. Dr. Rahal met with HookHairs on his most recent journey to the UK in April 2014 to get an update on his progress. Hookhairs reported that he was very happy with his final result after 22 months post-op. Hookhairs had 1413 FUE grafts in one procedure for the result you see below. I will be making a new upload every Friday for the next 12 months to highlight the consistent results of Rahal FUE. To view the story of HookHairs click the following link... http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/165135-dr-rahal-1413-fue-february-2012-a.html The following three images were taken by the patient at 4 months post-op. He received 2017 grafts via Rahal FUE™ in one procedure. He returned to the Rahal clinic one year after his procedure to show the result you see below. August 16th, 2014 Rahal FUE/1616 Grafts/1 Year http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176421-rahal-fue-1616-grafts-1-year.html This 34 year old patient came to Rahal seeking hairline strengthening via reshaping and strong density. The patient had a reduced amount of hair styling options and wanted to regain a youthful appearance without drastically dropping the hairline. 2553 grafts were extracted via FUE in one procedure for the result you see below. The result is showing at 11 months post-op. 1's: 685 2's: 1135 3's:687 4's: 46 Total hair: 5200 NOTE: The after photo was taken at 9 Months as there was no corresponding photo at 11 months. Senior Member Shadow of the EMpire State Posted August 31, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted August 31, 2014 Having been on these boards for more than 10 years, I can tell you that there's no better spokesman for your clinic than Joe Tillman. Nor is there a more honest or knowledgeable resource for patients. In the interest of full disclosure, I should tell you that I don't know Joe personally. In fact, I've never even met him. Nor have I ever been a patient of either of the clinics for which he's worked. He's never made a dollar off me, and I've never made a dollar off him. Despite this, whenever I've written to Joe, he's written back with honest, unbiased information and opinions. He's never tried to sell me on any procedure. Not even once. That alone distinguishes him from many people in the industry. Moreover, he's worked at two of the better clinics in the world, one a top strip-surgery outfit; the other, one of the most progressive clinics in the world, so he knows what he's talking about. Last, he's had firsthand experience with hair loss. And by "hair loss," I don't mean Norwood 3. For those who don't know, Joe was once a dead-end Norwood 6. Make no mistake: he knows what it's like to be bald; he knows what it's like to undergo multiple procedures; and he knows what it's like to navigate the ugly-duckling stage. Of course, I don't mean to imply that there are no other honest or knowledgeable people in the industry, but I can't think of anyone who brings the full spate of qualities that he does. After all, how many people in this business (a) have been slick bald; (b) have undergone multiple procedures; © have worked at two of the best clinics in the world; and (d) provide honest, unbiased advice? Well being a Pom I can only speak for the English reps that I am aware of, but I find Garageland and Spex to both be excellent reps. I have no experience with Joe so I can't comment on his qualities. Very well written Shadow and agree fully. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
