How high is too high?

Just curious to know at what area should a doctor strip donor hair from the side ear region? I have attached a photo where the scar is seen in this area. Afterall, in the years to come won't hair from that area eventually fall due to the normal hair loss pattern which will result in a massive scar visible to all?

 

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

That scar is only a couple of inches above your ear which is the appropriate donor region. If you lost enough hair to have that show, you would be a NW 8 :)
