Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted July 29, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted July 29, 2014 This is the older brother of the other recent post of a repair of a z-plasty scar using FUE. Pictures are shown at the day of surgery, and 4 days out, roughly a month, 4 months, and 12 months. Given how tough the scar was in 2 areas, I suspect he’ll grow even a bit more by his final check this Christmas. As per the other write up…FUE into a scar is tricky, but both of these guys had nice beefy hair roots and a reasonable blood supply in the recipient scar. Time will tell. I’ve asked his mom to chime in with her thoughts on the forum as well. Hopefully we’ll see a post from her when they return from vacation. William H. mcleanmom
Pleasantly surprised by the result. Dr. Lindsay under promised and over delivered. He is pretty blunt with a nice staff. There was no hard sale here. I see hair growth all over the scar. There are still some short and fine hairs. Once all the hair grows and the texture goes back to normal the scar should be undetectable:)
