Regular Member ridge9 Posted July 21, 2014 Regular Member Share Posted July 21, 2014 Especially if you've never (or rarely) used them before? I heard there was a shedding phase and whatnot with each drug, the idea is I want to do everything I can to not only help the new grafts I received grow, but also make sure existing hairs don't fall. My biggest concern is ensure that nothing bad happens to the newly implanted grafts. So just seeking out our advice guys, what do you think? Senior Member hsrp10 Posted July 21, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 21, 2014 Didn't we already go through this before? You got some very detailed replies and real word experiences as well. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175862-taking-fin-right-after-hair-transplant-bad-idea-due-shock-loss.html At this point it's your call man. Because each person reacts differently to meds. Minoxidil and Fin are two completely different drugs btw, I would say yes you should at least try your individual response to Fin, monitor for sides and heavy sheds etc. I have had multiple procedures and never used Minox, with decent results each time so my opinion is Minox is not needed. good luck go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
