This is my first post but I have been lurking for quite some time. In fact, I probably came across the website more than 5 years ago when I was doing my initial research to get hair transplant.

I really appreciate what you guys have done here and I appreciate that there are guys out there who care, going through, and have gone through the same experiences I have...so Thank you!

Two days ago, I had my hair transplant surgery with Dr. Parsa Mohebi in his Encino clinic along with his professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff and technicians.

Upon initial consultation, I knew that I was going to have Dr. Mohebi do my procedure. He's not only a very personable as a person and took the time to really get to know me and my background but he's also very knowledgeable and on top of the latest in hair transplant procedure. He explained to me that this is a life changing procedure that should not be taken lightly and he complimented me for doing my research prior to meeting him. He went over every aspect of the procedure, from two weeks prior to the operation to what to expect on a day to day basis up to the time the donor staples are removed.

Yesterday I visited him in his Beverly Hills office to have my hair washed by one of his technician and do a check up. He said everything looks good and normal as normal as it could be the first full day after hair transplant.

I told him I wanted to share my story with the website that taught me alot and share my experience as I have learned from other experiences in this very informative, friendly, and helpful website.

Thank you http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com for the service you've done to the follically-challenged community...and Thank you to Dr. Mohebi and team for a making my HT experience as pleasant and soothing as it could possibly be...and I AM going back for that delicious vanilla ice cream brownie sundae!

Here are some Pre Op and Post Op photos from last Friday May 30, 2014.

Any comments are fully welcome and I will post follow up photos.

Thanks for the comments guys! To answer johnboy, the Doctor said that most of the hair I have now will most likely stay with me and only lose only about 20% at the front and crown, KO is quite right.

He prescribed to me Fenasteride to help keep them longer and even maybe thicken what's there. The aim for this first transplant is to get the top to 100% and the front to about 40% which I actually think is more than that. Later on, if I'm not happy with the fullness of the front and corners, I could do a smaller number of grafts.
