JimP21
Has anyone heard of or used phytoworx products or ultrax labs products for hairloss. They seem to have good ratings on Amazon, but some of those ratings are likely fake. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of these or has any experience with them. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted May 15, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted May 15, 2014 Hi Jim, Looks like the ultrax product contains 0.2% ketoconazole. While this drug hasn't be reviewed and approved specifically for the treatment of androgenic alopecia, many individuals use ketoconazole-based shampoos in conjunction with other preventive treatments like minoxidil (Rogaine) and finasteride (Propecia). The other ingredients seem to be mainly herbal in nature. These may help promote healthy hair and normal follicle cycling, but, like the ketoconazole, they have not been thoroughly studied and approved. Hope this helps! Good luck.
