Senior Member Dr. James DeYarman Posted February 6, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted February 6, 2014 This patient requested only a crown transplant and wanted a FUE procedure. I did 1500 grafts and the grafts were extracted with a .8mm Harris punch. I extracted right up to the thinning area and transplanted in the area. PRP was injected in the area post-op. The patient was seen one week later and had healed in very well. The latest photos are at 4 months and all ready has a lot of hair growing in. The hair seems to start growing in earlier with FUE then with strip. I think this is due to the fact that there is less vascular destruction with FUE then with strip. This is going to be an interesting case to follow.
