Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted December 16, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted December 16, 2013 Generally speaking, wearing hats or helmets does not cause baldness. However, under certain circumstances, ill-fitting headgear may result in traction alopecia. This is a localized form of hair loss resulting from "repeated yet unintentional pulling, twisting or rubbing of the hair". Traction alopecia can affect both men and women and may be temporary or permanent. AbrahemSmit
Yes, wearing a helmet stimulate hair loss . Best prevention would be to cover the head with a soft cloth/ handkerchief below the helmet.
