Senior Member losingmyhair123 Posted December 8, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted December 8, 2013 I'm having a MRI done on my shoulder this week and was wondering if anyone knows if the dye they put in your blood stream can affect the grafts? I will be one month post op.

Senior Member hsrp10 Posted December 10, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2013 I talked to my doctor about iodine contrast enhancement dye prior to a CT scan, and he said not worry about any hair effects. I was more worried about kidney damage so I opted not to have it done, just the regular CT. What type of contrast dye will they inject? go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
