I have just got a job in the NHS and have been given a 'declaration of health questionnaire' to complete.

Do I have to declare that I take finasteride for hair loss? If it's on my medical records will they be able to access them and if I don't declare it will I get in trouble'

Many thanks in advance,

Blond.

I wouldn't have thought any employer could access your medical records without you given them permission.

Personally, I'd just put down Finasteride and if questioned - tell them the truth. If you lie on the declaration it can cause nothing but problems.

Better to be honest if you get caught you could get into trouble. A lot of people with a full head of hair don't seem to know about Finasteride or what it does. If they do find out about it they may just think you have prostate cancer.

I think your right. I'll just declare it and be done with it.

Thanks!
