Regular Member Blond Posted April 12, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted April 12, 2010 I have just got a job in the NHS and have been given a 'declaration of health questionnaire' to complete. Do I have to declare that I take finasteride for hair loss? If it's on my medical records will they be able to access them and if I don't declare it will I get in trouble' Many thanks in advance, Blond. ----------------------------- PhD (Experimental and Clinical medicine) 1.25mg Finasteride Minoxidil 5% (EOD) Nizoral 1% (x3/week)
Senior Member Maxxy Posted April 12, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted April 12, 2010 I wouldn't have thought any employer could access your medical records without you given them permission. Personally, I'd just put down Finasteride and if questioned - tell them the truth. If you lie on the declaration it can cause nothing but problems. Regular Member Romeono1 Posted April 13, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted April 13, 2010 Better to be honest if you get caught you could get into trouble. A lot of people with a full head of hair don't seem to know about Finasteride or what it does. If they do find out about it they may just think you have prostate cancer. Regular Member Blond Posted April 14, 2010 Author Regular Member Share Posted April 14, 2010 I think your right. I'll just declare it and be done with it. Thanks!
