Senior Member agenteye Posted June 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2013 KevinJames- 5 months is ENTIRELY too early to tell whether or not your transplant was a success........as some people don't even start growing their hair (rare as it may be) until then. So I certainly would not worry about it this early on. You'll want to wait a year to judge the true results. If you are still concerned, maybe bring it up with your physician?! Is this "light" spot indeed an area that received some of the transplanted grafts, or is there a possibility that this was some of your native hair that was just miniaturized and was lost after the procedure? Again....I wouldn't worry at this stage. I'm sure everything is going to work out just fine!! Do you have any photos you could post for us to better help you?? 4737 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 11/16/2012 Daily regimen: 1/4 Proscar (1.25 mg Finasteride), Rogaine Foam (twice daily), 1000 mcg Biotin, 1 combo Vitamin D/Calcium/Magnesium, 1500 mg Glocosamine, 750 mg MSM, 1200 mg Fish Oil, 2000 mg Vitamin C, Super B-Complex, 400 I.U Vitamin E. kevinjames514
thank you so much for taking time answering both my questions youve been a great help unfortunately i dont have any picture on this computer but you brought up a point that it could have been some of my native hair that miniaturized since its not exactly where i had my transplant received but near it i really hope things even out. Senior Member agenteye Posted June 30, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2013 Well again.....I'd say wait 6 months and see how it all looks......and at the very least, you can consider a second pass to address any areas you still aren't satisfied with!! 4737 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 11/16/2012 Daily regimen: 1/4 Proscar (1.25 mg Finasteride), Rogaine Foam (twice daily), 1000 mcg Biotin, 1 combo Vitamin D/Calcium/Magnesium, 1500 mg Glocosamine, 750 mg MSM, 1200 mg Fish Oil, 2000 mg Vitamin C, Super B-Complex, 400 I.U Vitamin E.
