Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted June 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted June 1, 2013 Navin, Frankly, the "jury is still out" when it comes to Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) for hair loss. Some physicians think it has some validity, especially in female hair loss sufferers. Others believe the claims that it can regrow hair are dubious, and do not think LLLT has any place in modern hair restoration. If you are interested in tested, proven treatments you may want investigate minoxidil (Rogaine) and finasteride (Propecia), which have both been reviewed and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Furthermore, if you are a good candidate, surgical hair restoration (hair transplant surgery) is an effective option for restoring lost hair. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
