  1. Looks great bro --- You're a changed man!
  2. Well said Sam Spade! nfdFireMedic: You may want to strongly consider doing the shaving thing, which is universally accepted nowadays, right? How's your downer density? Looks like you'd need a few surgeries and a very large amount of grafts to really getbthe HTs done "right" --- thats a lot of time and money. Plus having to concern yourself with deco operating from the surgery etc. You have a great head and face shape which would compliment a shaved head --- plus looks like you have decent skin tone so just go tanning 1x a week or so (I feel like shaved head look just works better when you have a bit of a tan). I think your feel LIBERATED not having to work about hiding ANYTHING Just one man's opinion ...
  3. You have zero issues to be concerned about. Move on, enjoy your hair. You look great.
  4. Blake: great response man. People helping people.
  5. Day 2: Pain fading. Scalp still tight. Little bit of swelling in forehead. Nothing to really comment upon. Will report back on how sleep goes tonight. Shoot me questions if ya got any...
  6. Pre op; 3 years of Propecia, good hair day, 30min to make it look like this
  7. Pre op, post Propecia (believe me, entire recipient area was still severely thinning. Took a lot of work to make it look like this )
  8. Ok some pics but first a quick history: - Started noticing loss in 2005 - Did nothing about it until 2010, when I started seeing pictures of myself thinning (first few photos). Then I started using Propecia. - Propecia stopped everything in its tracks, I even regrew hair (see last few photos) - I could actually "fake" having a full head of hair pretty well, but it took very strict instructions to my barber + VERY long "modern" comb-over + LOTS of hairspray. - I wanted to quit going on faking it. Caused a lot of anxiety and work on my end. Couldn't get it wet. Felt uncomfortable doing any activity that could/would mess it up... Enjoy (have to post pics in a few entries)
  9. I'll dig up some pre-op photos real quick but first, an update: Lots of trouble sleeping, REALLY tight in the donor area, gonna lend it to the fact that I should've been WAY MORE DILIGENT regarding my laxity excecises --- but hey, I gave it my best and did 30/day for about a month. No regrets here though. The pain meds help a little, but can't get more than 3 hrs sleep at a time. Not a big deal to me really --- Like I said, no regrets and will be thrilled in whenever these BADBOYS grow in!
  10. Tell me about it --- went in looking for 3000 FUs, but donor site ended up being denser than we thought! We decided to just go with the DENSE packing and let the games begin. Back of my head hurts like hell --- but other than that went great!
  11. Just got 4200 FUs in Vancouver. Quite the experience. If youre thinking about a procesure, coming up on an appointment, or just want to compare and contrast Shoot any questions my way and I'll try my best to lend some insight! I'll also post a bunch or pics and provide short blurbs about my recovery.
