Regular Member harryoliver Posted May 27, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted May 27, 2013 Had 1500 units transplanted via FUE at the end of January 2013 by Dr. Farjo in Manchester. Terrific experience. Progress seems slow though? I've seen blogs and vids of guys with a lot better progress (measured by more hair!) at 4 months, although maybe these guys are using Regaine (I can't as I'm allergic to it!). What do you all think? I probably just need to wait longer, right?
Senior Member hairshopeing Posted May 27, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2013 I can understand your concern but some people grow slower than others!! You seem a level headed guy, of give it another couple of months to see where your at and hopefully by then there will be some visible growth!! If nothing at 6 months I'd contact the clinic and ask them to evaluate it!! But I think at 4 months some people have decent growth and others not, but it doesn't mean anything about the final results in 12-18 months time!!! Work looked neat and I'm interested as to how this goes as your the first fue farjo patient I know of!!
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted May 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 28, 2013 Harry, 4 months is really quite early in the process to comment on someone's results in a meaningful way. Hair growth after surgery only begins between month 3 and month 4. I would not be concerned at this stage. Give yourself another couple of months to see significant changes. Good luck! Senior Member mattj Posted May 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 28, 2013 It's definitely too early to worry. The fact you're buzzing it might be making it look thinner too. Senior Member GreatPelo Posted May 28, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 28, 2013 You're going through the toughest part of having a hair transplant procedure..and that's having to wait for results. Everything looks nice...a lot more hair to come!!!
Regular Member Jessop Posted May 28, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted May 28, 2013 I went to Farjo clinic recently. I seen one of their patients and his work looked very natural. I think he was 10 months post op. I haven't had a ht but people always say leave it at least 6 months on these forums.
