Regular Member BensonTT Posted May 9, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted May 9, 2013 Hey guys, after looking at a lot of transplanted hair photos.. It looks like most of the hair that grows is very thin and kinda curly looking. Is this the case for most transplanted hair?
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted May 9, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted May 9, 2013 Benson, Transplanted hair should maintain its original characteristics. If you have straight, thick hair in the universal donor region (the area in the back of the scalp where follicular unit grafts are extracted), the hair should appear straight and thick in the transplanted region as well. I recommend spending some time on the forums and reviewing results from our leading hair restoration physicians.
