pebald
I'm new to the board. I am 26, and have been noticably loosing my hair since I was 20, when I was 23 I was a day away from doing a procedure with Bosley in Philly. I did not know about the botched procedures about Bosley but a day before stumbled across the articles about them being sued, and the fact that the consultant says he's never seen Bosley do a bad transplant, I decided not to go through with the operation. And I have shaved my head ever since. I did more research and am much more knowledgeable now. I have also been on propecia the past 4 years. My question is this. I teach and coach. I am thinking if I do the procedure in June, that would give me all of the summer to recover. How does the scalp look 2 months after a procedure ? Is there obviouse scarring on the top ? Thanks

Senior Member MrJobi Posted June 14, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 14, 2009 Thank god you didnt go through with your HT. First I would get on propecia to stabilize your hairloss. Next, find a good doc an do some research regarding your options. 2 months is enough time to recover depending on if you have remaining hair to cover the scar on the side. Then you should have some hair on top to blend in the growth especially when it grows in coarse. Senior Member El Nino Posted June 14, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 14, 2009 You should look ok after two months. It will depend on whether you have any shockloss in the donor or recipient area. Also, some people's recipient area is still pinkish in colour then. Everyone heals differently.
