Senior Member Dr. Joseph Williams Posted April 29, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted April 29, 2013 Dr. Williams asked me to post this early result at 3 months to make a point that now that he utilizes PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections of the scalp after making the recipient sites along with A Cell/PPP (platelet poor plasma) graft bath prior to placement, he is noting much faster growth of the newly transplanted grafts. Even the larger crown grafts are beginning to grow at 3 months. His patients are really happy & excited to begin their improved look sooner than later. “Although it increases our costs in supplies, time, patient blood drawing & preparing the PRP & PPP/A Cell graft bath, I am completely convinced that over the past 10 months of including this in all my transplants, I am getting faster, fuller growth and happier patients sooner than ever before.” Joseph Williams, M.D. 36 year old male 3 month post-op having received a total of 2,574 grafts utilizing custom cut blades: 500 single hair grafts into 0.8mm incisions in the hairline, 824 grafts into 1.1mm incisions in the front, 750 grafts into 1.2mm incisions in the top and 500 grafts into 1.2mm incisions in the crown.
