What is the minumum amount of grafts when you elect a FUT?

If u need less that 2k grafts that means ur hair loss is very minimal, wat Norwood are u

Number of grafts depends on your need (area that needs to be improved) and density in donor (can't harvest too much per session in order to leave a fine linear scar).

I personally would not entertain the idea of fut for anything less then a norwood 5.

I need 4000 grafts,I noticed that the range of grafts obtained from strip varied between 2K - 5k (correct me if I'm wrong but it is highly dependent on scalp laxity, longer the strip the larger number of grafts obtained. )

This really depends on three factors. Your donor density, your donor laxity and the clinic you choose. In our office the average patient can get 4500 to 5000 on the high end before they are considered above average for laxity and/or density. To not be able to get 4000 grafts would indicate that one of your donor characteristics is below average.
