Has anyone here taken after their FATHER's side in hair loss?

Usually they say one's hair loss comes from their mother's genetics. But has anyone here ever had their hair loss pattern come out to be like someone from their father's side (father, grandfather, uncle?)?

Hair Loss can be is a complex heriditary condition. It has not been isolated to one parental side or the other. Presently the thought is that it can be a combination of both. Here is some good basic reading on genetics and hair loss:.

Thats a myth it comes from both.

My brother took after my dad who has a thick full head of hair. He also looks a lot like him. I took after my mom and her bald father, lucky me lol. All comes down to how generics are dispersed. Luck of the draw.
