Regular Member wayek Posted February 28, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted February 28, 2013 I'm really heavily considering going on dutasteride or perhaps trying out that one formula where you take .5mg of dut a week with 1mg fin daily... thing is who do I talk to about getting on it? I could phone up Dr. Barr in Sudbury and see if he will percribe it to me but I'm afraid he might cancel the finasteride any time I try talking to actual doctors about this (not dermatologists) they offer very little.. it doesn't help also when the doctor you are seeing is bald/balding himself so I think he gets a little pissed off and says just deal with it and says I'm being too vain :rolleyes: I was once asked by a doctor how do I feel about my hairloss and how is it effecting me.. told him I feel pretty embarrassed/worried and a little depressed about it .. so he refers me to a counselor.......... needless to say I didn't see the counselor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
