Hi everyone.

Been on this site for a while just joined.

Looking into taking the plunge.

My current situation is on the profile picture. Not taking any meds - nor do I suffer from loss at back of head (im my late 30's). How many grafts and what should I expect for center - frontal restoration?

These are the 3 doc's I narrowed it down to:

Dorin (NYC), Arocha (TX), And Limmer(TX) --- is it ok to mention the names??

Any feed back would be greatly appriciated - as each Doctor seems to be doing a good job.

Thanks or your help and feedback.

It's ok to mention their names. Have you set up consultations with these doctors? Have you met any of their patients in person?

Hard to say how many grafts you need. It doesn't appear that your loss is overly aggressive. In my opinion, you should consider finasteride first.

Dr. G: 1,000 grafts (FUT) 2008

Dr. Paul Shapiro: 2,348 grafts (FUT) 2009 ~ 1,999 grafts (FUT) 2011 ~ 300 grafts (Scar Reduction) 2013

Dr. Konior: 771 grafts (FUT) 2015 ~ 558 grafts (FUT) 2017 ~ 1,124 grafts (FUE) 2020

Hi

I'm with Aaron

First of all , how old are you ? I would certainly (and did myself) consider meds first to stabilize your hairloss while you seek options as you are doing. I went to True ( or True and Dorin) and had an excellent experience as I am one of the few on here who have used the same doc for 4 different procedures. That said, you mentioned some great docs and it is important that YOU are comfortable with the doc .

Good luck!

JOBI

1417 FUT - Dr. True

1476 FUT - Dr. True

2124 FUT - Dr. True

604 FUE - Dr. True

My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. I am not a doctor.

Total - 5621 FU's uncut!
