ronman
Hello All, Did a 1 day session at Darling Budds with Dr. Tejinder Bhatti Grafts 3719 Duration of the Surgery: 7:30 report time Transplantation completed: 6:00pm I will be posting the pics soon. Highly recommend to do multiple session instead of a 1 massive session. I was extremely anxious and would have walked out even before I entered the clinic and wanted them to stop several times but kept quiet. This after I planning to do this for several years but it also could just be me!

ronman
Well Im sorry I won't be able to upload any pics until I return home. Its been almost a week now and the crusts are very visible on my scalp. Hopefully, should start falling off in 10 days but its a wait and watch process. I have lost a few strands and Im guessing they came off with the follicles as well. The scalp does itch a fair bit but the only way I guess is to be as patient as possible. The Donor area has almost healed up but the itching is primarily in the donor area. There isn't much pain as such and no blooding so far. Highly recommended to wear a cap when going out and ensure that the cleaning is done as recommended even though it can be extremely annoying. GNX1
I think most would rather get it done all in one day. if you were that anxious u should have asked for a valium or something similar. why did you considering walking out? I dont understand? can u expound on that a little?
ronman
The reason for changing my mind was because I wasn't sure if I really needed it not. Kinda denial that Im bald and I really needed a hair transplant for my hair to grow back. I think he did give valium which did calm me. I have never done a surgery in my life so the fear of something could go wrong was troubling me a lot.
GNX1
well I guess I can understand that. if u needed almost 4000 grafts id say ur far from denial and made the right choice. considering you didnt opt for FUT and and its an out partient procedure there is little that can go wrong in an FUE procedure imo. its not like u went to some no-name doctor who was practicing on ur head. Dr. Bhatti is well respected and ive yet to see any bad results from a HT he has done. Edited December 23, 2012 by GNX1

ronman
Hi Guys I had taken these photos from my BB as I seem to misplaced my cable for my camera and will probably need a few more days to load the pics that I took from my camera. The dates when the pics were taken is part of the filename reading backwards yyyymmdd I was prescribed Finasteride 1mg/day but after taking it for about a month I started having issues due to which I stopped and that lead to a level of depression but things are normal now for me and Im back to usual self. I have subbed Finasteride with 5mg minoxidil foam which I apply once a day. Im not sure if the end results will differ or not because of this switch but its a chance Im ready to take after the side effects I had because of Finasteride. I was kinda surprised that the side effects happened so quickly but I wasn't sure if I should continue further with it. As of today 5/02/2013 - 2 Months after the transplant, about 60% of the transplanted hair has fallen off and hoping to see some new roots budding up slowly but its a wait and watch for the moment. The Flash probably makes it look a lot more bald than it really is as it doesn't look so bad.
Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted February 5, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 5, 2013 I like your hairline that Dr Bhatti has created. Am I right in saying your HT was only at the frontal core? formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
ronman
Well majority was focused on the frontal lobe and a bit was done on crown area. I don't know the exact breakup of how much was done in the front and what was done on the crown area. The pics show a swollen forehead as there is a bit of swelling which has subsided and so the forehead has reduced since the swelling has gone now. So I don't have such a big forehead as seen in the pic now.
