Senior Member jupiter_jessica Posted November 30, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted November 30, 2012 57 year old man from Palm Beach Gardens interested in restoring a natural hairline with Hair Transplantation. His primary goasl were to create a natural appearing hair transplant that is full. Patient desired no pain and was budgeted to a limited cost to make it affordable. Patient was concerned on Strip Surgery Versus Follicular Unit Extraction. He opted for a Trichophytic closure technique to minimize any apperance of a Liner Scar. Patient underwent a total of 2813 follicular unit grafts. He is augmenting his transplant with Rogaine( minoxidill) and is not taking Propecia (Finasteride). Patient is very happy with his density, and his natural looking hairline. Patient also had follicular unit grafts into the temple to balance his facial proportions. Senior Member Dr. Ricardo Mejia Posted December 7, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted December 7, 2012 As I mentioned in some of my previous posts. This was a patient who actually told several of his coworkers. He was actually the hot topic as several of his male colleagues were very interested in the procedure and very supportive of what he had done. Surprisingly, he did not anticipate so much positive remarks. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted December 12, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted December 12, 2012 I'd agree that this result is subtle but there is no doubt that this gentleman looks far better after hair transplant surgery. Very natural and age appropriate! Well done Dr. Mejia! David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional. Senior Member Dr. Ricardo Mejia Posted December 14, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted December 14, 2012 You are correct. Many older men sometimes just Want a subtle improvement. They are not looking to create an 18 year old hairline. Consequently , everything is planned based on the patient consultation and objectives, which in this case was to create more hair with natural subtle results.
