David622
Hi, I’m 21 and I recently lost a considerable amount of hair during the last month and maybe only the last 2 weeks (everything was ok one month ago when I went to the barber to cut my hair). I have the impression that I’m losing hair all around my head but the loss seems much bigger on my forehead as you can see on the pictures below. I’m not sure if it’s permanent or cause by other symptoms… Last month has been really terrible, I had a lot of stress for professional reasons (It was probably the stressful mouth of my life), I didn’t eat well, I loss 15 pound and didn’t sleep a lot. I really hope it’s a telogen effluvium (even if I’m not sure if I’m using this term correctly)… Could some people try and confirm whether this lost if simply due to stress and anxiety or if i'm headed for baldness? I really appreciate your help and I’m really sorry if my English is not perfect. Edited November 4, 2012 by David622

Senior Member Cant decide Posted November 4, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted November 4, 2012 Stress can play a HUGE role in hairloss. Of course I would suggest relaxing but that may not be entirely in your control. You might want to also look into a good multi vitamin that is specifically for overall hair health.
