should i go for HT?

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I am 28 year old from mumbai - india, i have been lossing hairs from last 2 years from the middle area of my scalp. I have been taking treatment from last one year. Had used Minoxidil 2%, 3% and MorrF 3 % and some tablets but i have not used Finasteride because of its side effects. These treatments have stopped my hair loss to some extend but without hair growth. Now i want good density in my bald area, my side area has got good density. So, requesting all of you to help me with my following questions.

1) Should i go for HT?

2) Can HT at 28 age damage my existing hairs?

3) Will HT help me with good density?

4) How many estimated grafts will i require to cover my bald area?

5) FUE or FUT?

6) Suggest good surgeon from mumbai or from any other place in india

Thanking you All

Looks like you have great donor density! I would go FUE man, I have seen enough stretched scars that do not turn out great to justify the yield difference(if any). Just my opinion. A good Doctor will shave the recipient area and not transect any existing hairs so that they will not be damaged. Be aware that some native hair that is going to be on their way out might be lost after the procedure, but they are going to be lost sooner or later.
