Regular Member MichGuy Posted August 31, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted August 31, 2004 I am almost 6 weeks out from my HT and I don't think all of the grafted hair has fallen out. Is this unususl? Will It fall out later or is the falling out part pretty much over with?

Senior Member Robert_ Posted August 31, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted August 31, 2004 MichGuy, I am a little over 10 weeks out and I still have some "stragglers." Some are almost a full inch long. While they are the extreme minority (most of my transplanted hair fell out the third and fourth weeks) they are certainly going strong. Everything is normal. Happy growing. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
Senior Member Brando Posted August 31, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted August 31, 2004 I will be 4 weeks post op this Thursday and I have probably 10-15% of my transplanted hair left. It SUCKED seeing them gradually go, but I guess it's all part of the process.
Regular Member MichGuy Posted September 1, 2004 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 1, 2004 It looks like most of mine have survived and are growing. They are about 1/2 inch long and look like the rest of my hair as far as thickness etc.
