Is there anything I can do other than wait?

Now that my HT is done and I'm taking minoxidil and finesteride, is there anything I can be doing other than waiting for hair to grow.

 

I know there are lots of scams, but are there any legitimate supplements I should be taking to support hair growth?

You can take the supplement Msm which has been stated to help increase the rate of growth for your native hair but there is nothing to speed up newly transplanted hair unfortunately.

This? I've heard that before but when I looked the description said nothing about hair growth.

I take msm, it seems to speed things up a bit, but as chrisdav said there's really nothing to help speed up the process. The first 3-4 months suck but trust it will get better

Other than Finasteride and Minoxidil, taking Biotin, MSM, and a daily multi vitamin are about the only things you can possibly do. That way you ensure your new grafts are getting the best nutrition possible. Also, eat a healthy diet and do not smoke. It is proven that smoking reduces blood flow in the scalp. It may not make any difference, but why risk it?
