Senior Member NEWHAIRPLEASE Posted August 4, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted August 4, 2012 You need to do a lot of research. If you lose ALL your hair on top it's possible you may not. E a candidate for an hair transplant. On average you have 6-10k grafts in the sides and back. Yes surgery can effect how short you wear your hair as there will be a scar. In the hands of an excellent surgeon, all of this will be okay though. Newhairplease!! Dr Rahal in January 19, 2012:) 4808 FUT grafts- 941 singles, 2809 doubles, 1031 triples, 27 quads My Hairloss Website
