minoxidil (5%) liquid usage ?

Hi,

 

My dermatologist recommended to me to apply Minoxidil (5%) 1 ml liquid twice a day.

 

My question here is how much time difference should be there between two applications in a day?

 

Currently I apply 1ml after coming from office around 5PM and then at 12 am before going to bed. So this almost 6-7 hrs gap between two 1ml application.

can somebody help here ?

 

Also, am applying minoxidil on crown area only (1ml); so will it have any effect on side and back hairs as well? As my side and back hairs have gotten thin in last year

I apply once after morning shower and again in the evening before sleeping, giving about a 10-12 hour span. I apply 1.5ml @ 5% per application which covers the entire top (vertex to crown).
