Regular Member LangoMaz Posted March 26, 2012 Regular Member Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) I've been considering a HT for a few years now and I am now considering doing so later this year. Last year I was quoted as needing about 250,000 grafts by a leading Thai FUE specialist (Dr Pathomovich). However, since then my 'widows peak' is getting larger and beginning to show signs I might go much balder than I thought. So with this in mind I'm not sure it's worth having the front part of the head done because I may need more procedures as the balding gets worse and its going to end up an expensive job over many years. My question is; how many FUE's can 2 person have? Because its my understanding that there is only 1 donor area. So if I go much balder I could get in the situation where the front of my head will be fine (post FUE's) but the top and the crown is bald because I have run out of donor hair area. Any ideas? Senior Member mattj Posted March 26, 2012 Senior Member Posted March 26, 2012 250,000 grafts?! That must be a mistake. You're right that donor area is limited. Frankly it's impossible to say how much graft potential your donor area has. Photos would help. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal.
