Aussie & NZ Patients flying home

Im about to go in for my HT in Canada and was wondering is it realistic to get on a plane and fly home the next day or the 2nd day?

I know from what i have been told and read its ok but remember this is a 15/16 Hour flight

not 8 hours.

I really would like to go home as soon possible but i don't want to risk my health.

That really is a long flight. You might want to cosider staying 3-4 days post op to insure that the grafts are settled in before taking that long journey.

Yea I figured that might be the case for such a long flight.
