Senior Member gasto Posted November 20, 2011 Senior Member Posted November 20, 2011 Hi people, I've been searching for herbal supplements, oils, and topical substances that might help hair growth, and here is a list of what I've found legitimately useful considering to the sources that promoted them(not that I have verified it): Polygonum Multiflorum (Chinese herb used since ancient times for hair loss) Aloe Vera Gel(I use it and at least it gives a silkier appearance to it) Cod Fish liver oil(I use it and seems to be giving strength and silk appearnce) Dog food on scalp(I heard this crazy home-remedy needs some extra preparation (dilute it in water), sounds plausible considering all the nutrients it must contain in order to completely nourish a dog) Lavender oil Olive oil If any of you have any comments regarding these suggestions, by all means, share your views.
veronicaZora Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Some homemade and herbal remedies that are as below: 1. Jojoba oil may help with hair loss when applied to the scalp. 2. Emu oil or kalaya oil and Safflower is considered to be a good vasodilator. 3. Take 1 banana, 2-3 teaspoon of olive oil (depending on hair length)and 4-5 teaspoon of milk. Now, add crush the banana from your hands or a spoon, then add it in a bowl. Add the olive oil and milk.Mix it well, try mixing the banana totally with the milk.
