Bill - Seemiller
grub12, Yes, ketoconazole can cause an initial hair shed. If you're using Nizoral shampoo, you may want to use it only a couple times a week. Nizoral can cause your hair and scalp to become dry. Best wishes, Bill
Fante 4
I used Ketoconazole 1% and 2% for about a year without any other hairloss products and noticed minimal if any reduction of shedding. But then you might respond differently. Furthermore the damn stuff practically scorched my scalp every time I used it, and it didn't even get rid of my dandruff! From my experience if you're going to use it, stick to 2x/week.
