Senior Member ziggy00 Posted August 8, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2011 Rogaine causes hair loss for about a month before it starts kicking in. You'll get peak results at around 12 months of use. So nothing to worry about, it's a completely normal reaction.
Dr. Glenn Charles
Some hair restoration physicians think that those patients who get an increase shedding initially after starting Minoxidil actually get a better result in the long run. seeking-hair
I totally felt that my hair was coming out a lot when I started rogaine, but then my doctor told me that would happen and it would return. He was right. I actually have thicker hair in the back of my head.
