Senior Member tarepanda Posted June 19, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2011 I just started minoxidil for abt 4 mths on my thinning areas including the hairline. Althought the instructions say not effective for the hairline, i found that i started to have much more vellus hair on my hairline now. Is there any chance that these vellus hair will turn thicker n black like the rest of our native hair?
Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted June 19, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted June 19, 2011 Yes definitely. It says on the bottle it mainly works for your crown because apparently they didn't do tests for the front but it works very well i regrew my whole head to a decent standard. The blonde vellus hairs will become thicker and darker over time but i found even after ten years of use i still have some blonde hairs but even them hairs are effective when you styled with hair wax to darken the hair.
