Regular Member Johnny1386 Posted June 10, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted June 10, 2011 HEllo Rogaine here in Canada 2% costs about $ 60.00 dollars ....a certain Drug Store here provides its own brand name "rexall" with 2% minoxidial for $ 60.00 and you get 2 bottles of 30ml vs only 1 from Rogaine ....so half / price. Dr. Glenn Charles Posted June 11, 2011 Share Posted June 11, 2011 As long as you are getting the generic Minoxidil from a reputable pharmacy is should have a similar effectiveness. However, you may want to consider the Minoxidil 5% either way. Also, many patients prefer the foam version which is only made by name brand Rogaine because they claim it had less topical side effects. This can be used once a day even thought he bottle says 2x/day which will make each bottle last longer.
