tenderness in recipient area

Hey guys and gals,

I'm at about 9-10 weeks post-op right now and over the past week and a half, I've noticed that my recipient area has become a little more tender when I brush or comb my hair. I'm thinking that this is normal and that it means stuff is beginning to happen/grow. Just wanted to hear some feedback from the people that have experience with HTs and if they had the same change in sensitivity/tenderness while you were at this point in the HT process. Feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

boloheadboy,

I couldn't say whether or not this is "normal". I don't recall having this experience with either of my hair transplants. However, everyone is different and I wouldn't think there is any cause for concern at this point.

I had the same thing in the rec arae along with some numbness and tenderness in the donor even further out than 8-10 week. All good now and the scar is paper thin.
