Regular Member starman Posted December 16, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted December 16, 2008 Anyone out there notice a difference (besides the obvious costs)??? I've only used the solution but had a DR. tell me the mousse was a better way to go,is this true?
Senior Member Eman Posted December 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted December 16, 2008 I have found the foam is less irritating to the scalp and the hair doesn't feel greasy after. It also doesn't leave red marks wherever it streaks. It is more expensive, but it is much easier to apply and now I can use it in the morning before work (2x a day per instructions). I used to only use it at night because I didn't like how my hair looked during the day if I used it in the morning. Hopefully a generic version of the foam will arrive shortly! My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...
Senior Member Maxxy Posted December 16, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted December 16, 2008 The foam is by far a lot more convenient, however, some people suffer from major sheds using it - myself included. Eman: I was actually just reading today that 1 application per day is almost as effective as using it twice per day - due to the half-life of minoxidil being 22 hours in the skin.
