Very good results in spite of two unfavorable factors

Recommended Posts

This patient is 29 years old.

Two unfavorable factors: fineness of the hair (65 microns) and a low rate of hair/graft (2 hair/FU).

Two favorable factors: high density of the donor area (97 FU/cm2) and elasticity +++.

Result of the cutting :

3916 grafts, 7987 Hairs, 867 FU1, *2125 FU2, 830 FU3, 95 FU4.

We decided to spread the hair transplant in two parts: 2500 grafts on the front area and 1400 grafts on the crown.

The final result is very natural. It is often the case with very thin hair.

In spite of both unfavorable factors, the density obtained was very appreciated.

This is a nice result for 3900 grafts spread out so far. He has complete coverage. Does he plan on round 2?

Finasteride 1.25 mg. daily

Avodart 0.5 mg. daily

Spironolactone 50 mg twice daily

5 mg. oral Minoxidil twice daily

Biotin 1000 mcg daily

Multi Vitamin daily

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

There is no second surgery foreseen for now.

Nevertheless, we discussed about the option to cover the central area which does not have any grafts. So, he will certainly come back for a second surgery.

Decent looking result. Just out of interest why is there always a shadow behind the head of most of your patients in the results photos? Is there a logical reason for this?

Bonkerstonker! :D

Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Also I don't use minoxidil anymore I lost no hair coming off it. Reduced propecia to 1mg every other day.

My surgeons were

Dr Hasson x 4,

Dr Wong x 2

Norton x1

I started losing my hair at 19 in 1999

I started using propecia and minoxidil in 2000

Had 7 hair transplants over 12200 grafts by way of strip but

700 were Fue From Norton in uk

I did not installed a photo studio and as the flash is central that gives a shadow.

I'm sorry and I thank you for the remark I will try to find a solution!
