Severe Seborrheic Dermatitis and Eczema after HT

Hello,

 

I've had seborrheic dermatitis and eczema all my life. Around 6 months ago I had a HT, and besides some intense itching it seemed to remain in check. Recently, I've been noticing some heavy buildup of dry skin on the right side of my temple. The growth of hair in the area has been slower than the left side so I'm starting to get concerned. My doctor confirmed it was seborrheic dermatitis

and prescribed me some ketoconazole shampoo. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be improving the condition.

 

I have a doctors appointment set for next week to try some new treatments, but I was curious if anyone else on the forum has experienced similar issues. Are there any treatments that can be damaging to my HT?
