Senior Member Michael5577 Posted March 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2011 How many grafts and who was your doctor? 3 months is too early to judge your procedure.
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted March 17, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2011 reen3, Try to remain calm. You are much too early to see any growth. Transplanted hair will only just begin to sprout between 3 and 4 months. You may not notice anything for another couple of weeks. It is also not unusual to appear to have less hair at this point. Shock loss of existing hair is a risk in both the recipient and the donor area. This lost hair will also begin to regrow around the same time as your transplanted hair. At this point it's a waiting game. Do your best to take your mind off of it. Avoid looking in the mirror every 10 minutes. and I also suggest taking photos on a monthly basis. Best of luck! Senior Member kathie47 Posted March 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 21, 2011 Unfortunately, there's still a long way to go. I know waiting must be difficult but you shouldn't worry yet. You won't be seeing any significant growth for another few months.
