Dr. Bijan Feriduni Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 53 year old Caucasian male with: - NW Class III class N - Donor density of 70 FU/cm2 - Hair diameter of ~ 60 microns Treatment plan: A FUE procedure with 2000 FU to reconstruct the hair line and central core Performed procedure (July 5th, 2010): A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2154 FU in a single day session, ‘1 step procedure’ with: * 402 single hair FU * 1752 double and triple hair FU Extraction performed with a 0.9mm FUE punch with Versi handle™; Microscopic preparation of the single hair follicular unit grafts; Parallel incisions (single and double units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.7mm – 0.9mm).
