JA77 Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 About 10-15% of my transplanted hairs have not fallen out almost 3 months post op and are growing. I can see there is like a thicker bulb at the ends and the growing hair part is thinner. Is this normal and when should I expect most of the other hairs to start growing again? Some patients do find that some of their transplanted hairs skip the shedding phase and continue to grow. The rest of your new hairs should begin sprouting between three and four months post-op.
