I am a month pass my hair transplant surgey, I was wondering if I itch my scalp am i going to damage my hair? and can I take a shower and massage my transplant hair with a shampo after 30day pass? Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted February 9, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 9, 2011 It was ok for you to start showering normally and shampooing after 8 days post surgery. The itchiness is a normal part of the healing process, try to not scratch your head if you can. Use shampoo that help with itchy scalp such as selsun blue, or head and shoulders.
