Regular Member tommyf Posted November 22, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted November 22, 2008 Wondering about how long to avoid direct UV exposure after my transplant. I am heading to Jamacia in two weeks, so I will be 10 weeks post-op, just wondering what precautions should I take, or is a little UV ok? Any advice really appreciated tommy My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Rahal
Senior Member Eman Posted November 22, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted November 22, 2008 Tommy- Hope things are going well!! I am jealous about your Jamaica trip. I need to get out of cold Chicago as well as I am beginning to look as white as snow. About getting sun on the recipient area, I asked the same question earlier last year. Take a read: http://hair-restoration-info.c...331047292#7331047292 Hope this helps a little. I would simply wear a bandana as you can swim with it, lay out with it, play beach games, get sun on your face, and people will simply think you are a redneck american (not that there is anything wrong with it!?). Next week will be both of our 2-month's mark, exciting...but seeing nothing yet, at least on my end. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...
