Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted January 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 20, 2011 You should consider using minoxidil or finasteride, consult with a recommended doctor on this site. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. boogdan
thanks, i appreciate it...and finasteride has side effects?
Senior Member Thehairupthere Posted January 21, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 21, 2011 Finasteride does have side effects, but a large majority of users do not experience them. There is about 1% chance of having decreased or loss of libido, and less than 1% of all users experience gynecomastia (chest inflammation). Do some more research on this and consult with a doctor before using these medications, but they work well. Just so you know most people see a stabilization effect from finasteride and minoxidil, but you can experience hair regrowth it's just less common. I am a consultant for Dr. True and Dr. Dorin. These opinions are my own. Dr. Robert True and Dr. Robert Dorin are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
